The City of Brownfield provides electric, water, sewer and garbage services to the Brownfield community.  Your utility account will cover all the City services you receive in one convenient bill. All utility services are located in the Brownfield City Hall, 201 W. Broadway. We can be reached at (806) 637-4547. Utility Services are open 8 a.m - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Building Permits

• A completed Permit Form along with your fee should be submitted to the Inspection Department.
• Rates are based on the estimated cost of the building

  up to $1,000:	$2.00
  $1,000 to $2,500:	$5.00
  over $2,500:	$10.00

• Sales Tax: 8.25% (State: 6.25%, County: .5%, City: 1.5%
